Sharp rise in applications to the Westerwelle Young Founders Programme

More than 2000 young entrepreneurs from 142 countries have applied to this year's programme.

This year sees a sharp rise in the number of applications for the Westerwelle Young Founders Programme. All in all, 2279 young entrepreneurs from 142 countries have applied. This marks a tenfold increase in the number of applications compared to the previous year. 25 of these young founders from developing countries will be selected for the 2017 programme year and will participate in the Young Founders Conference this September. The Westerwelle Foundation will further support them through mentoring and coaching initiatives and will facilitate their attendance to conferences relevant to their companies. This stunning number of applications underlines the great regard that Guido Westerwelle and the Young Founders Programme enjoy all over the world.
