About Africa Investment Bridge

African startup ecosystems are growing rapidly, driven by a young population, strong innovation, and expanding markets. Yet despite this momentum, African startups continue to receive a disproportionately small share of global venture capital, often due to information gaps, perceived risk, and limited proximity between investors and local ecosystems.

The Africa Investment Bridge (AIB) is designed to strengthen investment connections between European investors and high-potential African startups. The pilot phase of the programme focuses on the Germany-Africa investment corridor.

Through curated engagement, data-driven insights, and on-the-ground exposure, AIB supports investors to better understand African markets, identify credible opportunities, and engage in gender-inclusive and climate-smart investment flows across the continent.
