About the AfroGreen ClimAccelerator

While the world is looking for ways to mitigate climate change, it is essential to explore a multitude of possible solutions. In recognition of the gap in late-stage accelerators and female-focused climate programmes, the AfroGreen ClimAccelerator Programme is designed with a gender lens to empower startups in the green sector. The programme is focused on sustainability and growth and provides a unique opportunity for selected startups to develop solutions to mitigate climate change and expand their market presence.

The first cohort of the programme was implemented in 2023 and the second cohort in 2024.
