About DigiTalents
DigiTalents is a 12-month program providing business and technical training for 50 young digital talents in Tanzania and 3 months of incubation for 10 freelancers and 10 entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas.
Across Tanzania, entrepreneurship ecosystems are filled with youth who are eager to grow and harness their digital talents. However, there is a clear gap in technical and business education, as well as access to finance and client networks, which hinder the professional growth of digital talents.
The DigiTalents programme bridges this gap through business and technical training, as well as a Playbook that can be used by organizations across Africa for replicating digital skills training programmes.
Playbook
In order to support the further development of digital talent, the DigiTalents Playbook was created and open sourced to be used by Entrepreneurship Support Organizations across Africa. We conducted primary research, workshops, and surveys across five zones and regions in Tanzania. The findings, as well as actionable suggestions are all summarized in the Playbook.
