About SHEignites

Addressing the challenges of climate change requires all hands on. The SHEignites programme raises awareness and empowers women working on climate solutions to make their ideas reality. The programme specifically targets women entrepreneurs working in various sectors that contribute to sustainability, including sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, environmental conservation, and inclusive financial systems.

Hackathon & Incubation

To kickstart the programme, a hackathon event is organized, bringing together over 100 women entrepreneurs. During this event, participants collaborate and develop innovative solutions related to climate change. Following the hackathon, the top 15 teams with the most promising ideas are selected to join the program’s intensive 11-month incubation program. This incubation period aims to support these teams in refining their business models and launching their sustainable ventures.
